Croatia - Trogir to Venice
Day 1: Join your yacht in lovely Trogir. Because you are intelligent, you flew in
a couple of days ago so you could enjoy time in Split. You can dine on your yacht
tonight, or have a romantic dinner in one of the many restaurants that line the
winding streets of Trogir.
Day 2: Enjoy breakfast underway, as you head north to Sibenik. Your captain
has arranged for you to meet with a guide for a tour of the Krka National Park.
The park features seven waterfalls, plus lakes, rapids, watermills and a couple of
monasteries that date back to 1402.
Day 3: As you slept last night, your captain and crew moved the yacht north.
You wake up to enjoy an al fresco breakfast on the aft deck, taking in the sights
of Rab. After breakfast, you board the tender to explore this lovely island. Perhaps
the chef has prepared you a picnic to enjoy in the forest that boarders the
village.
Day 4: Today you will visit the island of Krk. This is the chance for the divers
to explore the Vrbnik Cave. After their dive, everyone will want to go ashore and
eat and drink their way around this medieval village. Of course, paying special
attention to Vrbnicka...the locally produced white wine!
Day 5: Again, as you slept, the yacht was moved. Today you will wake up
either in Pula, located at the tip of the Istaria Peninsula, or the Brijuni Islands.
You discussed your choices with your captain, and decided to visit the ancient
amphitheater in Pula, or the zoo, golf courses, diving and dinosaur foot prints of
Brijuni. Ahh, the choices one has to make!
Day 6: Ravinja welcomes you today. Visit the artist’s shops as you explore the
cobble-stone alleys. Just be careful: it is steep and the stones are worn smooth
by countless feet. If your lucky, you might be there when one of the many festivals
is going on.
Day 7: Venice! You arrive in the morning and stand at the rail, coffee cup in
hand, as you marvel at the madness of the Grand Canal. You are grateful that
your captain is experienced as you watch a myriad of vessels of every shape and
size zip about like water mites! Sadly, you enjoy your last breakfast before you
depart. But again, you were smart. You have lodgings booked so you can spend
a couple of days enjoy Venice and the surrounding area. The perfect end to a
perfect charter holiday.
